Course Aims and Objectives:
Bring the delegate’s health and safety knowledge up to date, as well as giving a thorough overview of the legislative changes and their impact in the work place.
At the end of the course, the learners should be:
- Aware of, and able to implement all updated health, safety, welfare, and environmental legislation which affects them in their role as a manager
- Aware of and able to implement new guidance and industry best practice
- More aware of their duties and responsibilities with regard to health, safety, welfare, and the environment.

- Risk assessment and method statements
- Construction Site Health, Safety, and Welfare
- Reporting of Injuries, Diseases, and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations (RIDDOR)
- Behavioral safety
- Occupational health
- Overview and changes to the current legislation affecting construction.
A CITB grant of £140 is available for those companies who are CITB levy paying customers.
