  • The uses and location for asbestos (Activity).
  • Effects on health including smoking and asbestos.
  • Types of asbestos surveys.
  • Selection and maintenance of PPE/RPE (Wearer demonstration).
  • RPE face fit testing / wearer demonstrations (Optional).
  • Tools and equipment required for non-licensed removal. (Activity).
  • Waste disposal requirements.
  • Hygiene & decontamination requirements.
  • Safe removal techniques (Company Specific ‘non licensed’ tasks).
  • Safe removal procedures 
  • Cleaning and site clearance.

Refresher training is available for those who have completed the full course. It is advised that a refresher is completed on a yearly basis.
